Proposal

Our music video will be a narrative type video, focused around a main character. The song will be from this characters perspective and the video will follow their life.

At the beginning of the song with the fast paced drums and guitars, we will edit together clips of the city to the beat. At the end there is the same type of thing, and have the same concept with clips of the city.

The song itself is about exhaustion and losing the romanticised feeling of what life used to be like. We will use a bleaker colour pallet and lower, moodier lighting to capture this feel, we will also most likely incorporate a blue tinted filter in the post production. There will be other characters featured in the video, however they will only be minor roles in the video.

The outfits that we wear will also follow the bleak tone, being mostly dark and plain. portions of the video will take place outside and others inside in places like ballers in Doncaster for the sections where they are talking about kids fighting with pool queues in their hands. For other lyrics that are supposed to display the change in perspective, we will use the light settings on premier pro in order to change the exposure.

The Equipment I have chosen will be easy to transport and move around with, which is perfect for the style of video I have chosen, considering that we may have to move locations based off of the contingency plan and possibly better suited locations.
